Lynds asked: I want to travel to Ireland this summer and I have no idea where to begin to research flights, hotels, places of interest etc. I understand that certain people have a knack for traveling and saving money in the process… I wasn’t given that knack

any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks!

Nivea asked: I need to travel from Rutgers University to downtown Manhattan (Avenue of the Americas), on a weekend and am exploring options. I’ll also be travelling from downtown Manhattan to the Newark airport and back.
Time, cost and convenience are all factors. Please advise.

Wondering if it’s possible to do volunteer work overseas where the organization pays for your travel expenses (and maybe even accommodations). Anyone know of any different websites or organizations that may do this?
I do not necessarily mean volunteering for non-profit organizations or missions. There are organizations in the world that hire volunteers to do things other than help the needy. I mean volunteer for companies that need help with clerical duties, promotions of services, election volunteering positions, etc.

Where do you begin if you want to become a travel writer and you don’t have any writing experience or industry connections? Any suggestions? Is it best to take classes in writing or is this something that can be learned on your own? How competitive is the travel writing market?

I’m 15 years old and am wondering what a good career is if I want to travel the world and help animals. What could I do now to help me prepare for that career?
I was also wondering if the career would have all the travel expenses paid for.

I was planning to bring my parakeet to a pet place to get his wings clipped. It is supposed to be 89-92 today in New York. Is my parakeet going to be overheated? If so, can he travel in air conditioning?

don_megaWC asked:
I’ve found a specific cruise that I want and every single discount travel website offers the same exact fare $549.00 as the actual cruise ships website. This seems as though the discount websites aren’t discounts at all. So my question is, can I get a better price than carnival has on their site by going to a brick and mortar travel agent?
Also, we plan to cruise at the end of June or early July of 07

Kat T asked:
I have several travel mugs that I often fill with coffee and take with me in the car. The problem is that the cups quickly absorbed the taste of the coffee. Now if I put any other beverage, like tea, in the mugs all I can taste is stale coffee. I do wash my dishes very well with soap and water, so that is not the problem. It is just that the coffee is so strong I guess? Anyway, Can anyone please tell me how to remove this stale coffee taste from my travel mug?
