I am studying in Spain next fall and would like to travel a bit before my classes start. I would like to visit France, Italy, Germany and Poland. What are my options for reasonably priced travel? Would it be cheaper to ride by train or fly? Do I have any other options?

Chet asked:

Hello Everyone! My girlfriend wants to travel to Brazil next year for carnival, and would like to use a travel agent to plan our arrangements, while I would much rather plan everything on my own using the internet as a primary resource. Could anyone tell me the benefits and negative aspects of using a travel agent to plan a vacation of this type? Also, I would really appreciate it if anyone who recently traveled to Rio De Janiero could share some opinions and perhaps insider tips on traveling to this destination. Thank you.

I think you only need a shuttle of some sort with the ability to travel at or faster than the speed of light. Is this true? And do you think time travel will be possible some day?

I am planning a vacation to Ireland this Spring. The total trip travel will be about 700 km. How much will that cost? In either Euro or Dollar?
Thanks for the info. I was having trouble finding fuel consumption for the rental car. But I found it and figure the fuel will cost about $75 for the whole trip–assuming current prices. I was looking at coming in May.

Hoolu Girl asked:

I travel internationally to different destinations for business. I want to search for the best wireless phone plan for Blackberry or any other smartphone for the purpose of accessing my emails. I don’t need to make many phone calls. Please help me find the most affordable data plan. I will get a new wi-fi phone too. So I am looking for a package including new phone and monthly plan. Thank you!

valerie m asked:

This is my first nanny position and the family is going to Cancun for 7 days and have asked me to join them. They have a 1 year old child. I work 25 hrs for them a week, 4 days a week. We have lightly discussed compensation, breaks during the day and travel expenses. Can those with experience give me some direction on what is fair and standard for both the family and I?

I am planning on flying into Frankfurt and would like to travel to Brussels and Paris. We have 10 days. What is the cheapest way to travel, while still being efficient with time?
I am in law school and my boyfriend is just graduating college. We do not have a ton of money and the train seems really expensive. Any ideas for anything a bit cheaper? Even if it takes a bit longer?

Sound travels at 1100 feet per second. What distance could it conceivably travel before it finally loses it energy? Is it dependent on how much energy is produced in conjunction with that sound?
