I am retired and have searched the Wal-Mart stores for travel magazines to see what is available out there or what is needed. The only one, if available at all, is Southern Living. If you are thinking about getting into it seriously, then you need a good portfolio to start with. If you don’t already have one, just get your camera and travel. You can even put your photos in online galleries and depending on the quality of your work, you can get into the business.
